To ensure a safe and clean event, it’s important that you remove any sharp sticks or debris at the event location where the inflatable will be located. Anything that can puncture, rip, cut, or tear a unit is a hazard and should be remove from the site. Additionally, all animal waste should be removed from the event location to ensure cleanliness. We will not setup on top of animal waste.
Here are some requirements to consider when choosing the best spot to setup your inflatable:
- Must be within 100′ of electrical outlet to run a blower; otherwise, you will need to rent a generator.
- The blower must be plugged into a dedicated outlet, nothing else should be plugged into the outlet except the blower.
- Some inflatables require two blowers, which means you will need two separate dedicated outlets. This is most common on two piece inflatables, for example inflatables with attachable slip-n-slides.
- If you’re renting a waterslide or a unit that uses water, the location should be within 100′ of the water source (hose spigot).
- Overall you want to install the unit on a mostly flat level surface. If you’re renting a waterslide or a unit that uses water, you will want the waterslide and pool either flat or going slightly downhill.
- If setup is in the grass or dirt, the area should be free of roots and under ground pipes as the units are anchored using large industrial size stakes. Also, inflatables with pools don’t mix well with rocky terrain or areas that are root bound. The roots will stick up through the pool liner and will hurt your children or guest when they go down the slide into the pool.
- The area must meet the physical space requirements for the unit including length, width and height. Don’t forget about height, this measurement is often overlooked. Ask yourself, will the slide have plenty of clearance underneath those tree limbs?

Some inflatables are designed for water use and some are not. Most of our units are designed for water use and are labeled accordingly. Our operators will setup the water hose properly during the installation process and provide guidance on proper use. Once installed, it’s imperative not to change the hose position or add another hose to ensure safe operation and to prevent excessive water from entering the inside of the inflatable making is very heavy and difficult to drain and remove from the event.
Our inflatables can be set up on grass, cement, concrete, asphalt, or even indoors with a different anchoring system available for every possible combination. When placing your reservation, please let us know on what type of terrain your rental will be installed. Inflatables that are setup on grass are anchored with long steel stakes, while inflatables that are setup on other surfaces or indoors are anchored with sandbags. To ensure a timely installation, it’s imperative we know which type of surface the unit is being installed on during the booking process so our trucks can be loaded with the necessary anchors that meet your event needs.
